Thanksgiving morning in the park

For as long as I can remember we always join our California cousins Thanksgiving morning for breakfast in the park.  Breakfast burritos, orange juice, donuts and hot chocolate start off our Thanksgiving day.  The kids swing on the swings, fly foam airplanes, play in the parachute, and we all play kickball.   It’s a great jumpstart to help burn off the calories that will inevidably be consumed later in the day.  As the years progress the kickball game gets more and more competitive.  Last time one of my brother-in-laws challenged all the “originals” to an “in-law” vs “originals” kickball match.  The in-laws won, handily, but here's always next year. I can’t imagine starting Thanksgiving any other way.
