Miryka and Dalton

I have slowly made my way through thousands of photos.  There is still more to sort, delete, and save but I've freed up enough space to operate. Hooray!

In February Miryka and Dalton were married in the St. George temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  It's been such a pleasure being in the same city with Miryka and her sister, Mckenzie.  I worked with these two Meyer girls in the church youth program and its a pleasure to watch them blossom into lovely ladies.  What a treat to see Miryka fall in love with Dalton, a great guy from Santa Clara.

Miryka's coral and teal colors were beautiful together. I especially appreciated how she used them in this seamless satin ribbon backdrop. This was just one of the many DIY (Do It Yourself) projects she created to make her reception special. DIY weddings are big right now and Miryka had some cute ideas including photo blocks that she made for each of the tables.  She also colored Mason jars with mod podge and food coloring.  As the adhesive dried it turned the jars a beautiful teal color.  So fun!

My kids were very excited for a local favorite, Grandma Tobler's, cinnamon rolls and the hot chocolate bar.  They loved adding whip cream, sprinkles, and white chocolate chips to their drinks, and they "oohed" over the chocolate dipped marshmallows.

The strings of lights created a beautiful ambiance for the evening.
Congratulations to Miryka and Dalton!
