A Bunco Christmas Party

Tuesday, December 4th

There are Book groups, Quilting groups, and Tennis groups.
Once upon a time there were Bridge groups.
In Santa Clara, its a Bunco group.

The concept is the same, a group of ladies regularly get together and enjoy each other's company. Over the past few months I have gotten to know many of the ladies of the Bunco group.  Most of the 20 or so ladies in the group have children my kids ages and many have children in the same class as my children.  They are good women and fun to be with.  They met each month, but don't be mislead by their name.  The never actually play Bunco.  They just hang out, have dinner, and talk until the wee hours of the morning.

Kathryn and I hosted the Bunco Christmas Party.  It was a ton of fun!

Our theme was "Favorites".

"Brown paper packages tied up with string,
these are a few of my FAVORITE things..."

Everyone wore their FAVORITE pajamas,
and brought a wrapped FAVORITE gift to exchange.
We ate our FAVORITE hors d'oeuvres,
and listened to our FAVORITE Christmas music.

We had a blast.

  1. So fun and so awesome! Everything looked great! I love the thousands of candles down the table. Yum- I want one of those ice cream sandwich cookies! And the shot glasses with soup are the perfect size! Where did you get those little spoons too? Love it all! Great job!
