Snow in the desert

One expects snow in the winter, but when you live in the desert and the last snow storm was almost 10 years ago, then snow in St. George is a BIG DEAL. 

Imagine our surprise when we woke up this weekend to snow!  What started as a light snow fall quickly accumulating and before I knew it the kids were building a snow fortress, having snowball fights and enjoy the rare white frozen wonder.   

Ethan loves snow (a may not have forgiven us for moving him away from it).  When it started to snow he told me "keeping me out of snow is like keeping a fish out of water".
