John and Melora

This past week we had two sets of house guest at some point during the week, plus Teacher Linda--our swim teacher.  It was a fun-filled week.

At the end of the week John and Melora came down for the Memorial holiday weekend. Having family visit is a special treat. We soaked in the cousin time and the kids had fun hanging out with Joycee.

We decided to take a trip to Zions National Park.  John had never been before, and I can't remember the last time I went.  The majestic red rocks did not disappoint!

We rode the tram through the park and got off at certain points to hike around.  The kids were great hikers and the babies did well, too.

John and Melora make the most of each moment.  Whether its in the kitchen coming up with new smoothie recipes, or singing fun Raffi songs in the car, they are fun to be with.
Joycee is one lucky girl!

Zion has some of the most picturesque views.  This one is from Bubbling Rock.

It was hilarious to watch Jacob trying to figure out why the water from the rock was falling on his head.  He thought it was the funniest thing.  He kept saying "It's raining on my head!"

We missed Dad while he was working at a Henry Walker Homes open house, but we are grateful we could take advantage of the opportunity to explore our beautiful earth.
