Tode's Nativities

Monday, December 10th

For family night Mary Jo Hafen a.k.a. "Tode" gave us a personal tour of the unique nativities she has collected from all over the world.  She has a story to tell about each of them.  They are her treasures.

They served a mission in Africa and this is a piece they commissioned while they were there.

They had a couple of nativities from different parts of Africa.

This one was from the Vatican City in Italy.

This is a Zulu nativity.

This one was an Omish nativity.

From Peru.

 Zimbabwe

Venezuela

Estonia

This came from "Christmas town" in Germany where the passion plays are performed.

This nativity was made from salt dough and hand painted in Santa Clara, Utah
