Having a baby is a great reason to celebrate!
This baby boy shower honors my neighbor, Paige, and her bundle of joy, Miles.
The baby's grandmother and great-grandmother (both also my neighbors) play hosts.
A hostess and their home are intertwined; one reflects the other.
I've always thought of my sweet neighbor as Mrs. Clause with her cheery disposition and kind ways. Her beautiful home, filled with rich heritage, reflects both.
The lunch buffet is filled with homemade rolls, salads, "dashing dips" and "dapper desserts" all fitting the "Little Man" theme. As a parting favor guests take a cold bottle of root beer with "Just Add Ice Cream" instructions to make our own root beer floats.
A few weeks later baby Miles is born.
